-22 Car abuse!!

So last week I took my car out on a nice clear and sunny day ... however it was -22 out!!

I had to drop my wife off at the local garage because she just had the front driver side barring replaced.

WOW it was horrible! The roads were dry and clear, somewhat dusty from the sand, but overall clear.

For the first KM or so it felt like the car was on plastic tires! P-zeros at -22 OUCH! but I checked the tires over after I got back and they did not look cracked it was a pretty short drive.

AND NO .. No way I was telling her to walk!! haha!

Man I need to invest in a better couch! .. or winter tires for next year!

-39 last week... Lots of creaks & groans... Had taken the car through the car wash a couple days earlier... Thankfully the BF Goodrich's on my heritige wheels aren't awful in the snow. Sucks on ice though :'( Sure is fun as a winter beater

I saw -36c on my display last week. even the winter tires were like hockey pucks until they warmed up a bit. this week is better.

Napanee gets pretty darn cold, Winter tires help. PTs aren't the greatest in cold weather either.
