Short Throw Shifter
Anyone know why you can't order the short throw shifter with the 1LE? My salesman doesn't know why. Won't let you have both on the website

Also, the 1LE has a different transmission than the SS so the Hurst ST shifter probably won't mate with the 1LE transmission. Those are the only reasons I can think of.

Bro it won't let u because the 1LE comes with a short throw shifter already, there is no pointvof the Hurst. The one you get on the 1LE is way better... I believe is the obe found on the Z06

gotcha, website and brochure don't do a good job of explaining that. Not sure I am a fan of the suede shifter. I love the white ball sitting on top of my hurst shifter on my M22 Rock Crusher in my GTO. May have to switch after delivery.
I gotta say, Chevy kinda dropped the ball with info out there on this car/1LE option. Website and brochure are light on info. When I went to dealer last week, sales kid didn't even know what the 1LE option was. And this is a performance minded dealer with a '13 ZL1 sitting in the showroom. They obviously didn't prep the sales team that 1LE was going to be available on '13s. Thanks goes out to this forum and members for keeping us enthusiasts informed |

I thought the transmission was the same, only the gearing was different.

Nope. It's still a TR6060 but it's the MM6 variant from the ZO6. The regular SS is the MM10.

True, it's called a MM6, it has the same gear ratio 1-4 as the ZL1, but a little taller in 5-6, the ZL1 shifter with microfiber suede is used.
