Couldnt agree with you more. I love seeing new editions come out, but at the same time I laugh when I see the same KB or TVS under the hood of an otherwise stock camaro, but yet the "designer" has their logo on the trunk. Putting TVS supercharger, Eibach springs, Boss wheels and Chevrolet Rally Stripes on a Camaro is not original creativity. You're not a designer, you're an assembler. **and by no means am I hating on any of the parts mentioned above. I love them all **

One of the best renditions that I've seen. Everything looks like it will be put together.

Those stripes are awesome!
I've been playing around with my pencils for weeks now, off of the havok stripes, can't believe I didn't come up with something like that! I might just steal the design! |

Nice looking car, but most likely going to be overpriced, and really not that big of a deal.
This sort of stuff reminds me of buying a pair of designer jeans with holes in it for $300 because someone put their name on it, and claimed the're european. I won't mention any brands but, there is one straight out of Montreal, PQ. that made a killing doing this sort of thing. Albeit, I have to admit the ladies looked very good wearing them. Regardless, my point is; Although, we live in a capitalist society which means nothing wrong with making a buck as long as someone out there will purchase your product, the truth is anyone can pick up a pair of vintage Levi's that fit great take a scissors to it put it in the wash to fray the hole a bit and ta-da you have the same jeans for $50. All the stuff they're going to do to this car will be the same as taking it to your local performance shop and asking for the same stuff or similar setup. Okay, so the funky supercharger won't be one of a kind with some dudes name written on it with a piece of paper from Baldwin, Redline, Chevy, and Motion (I'm confused, who's building the car again, LOL), but you'll get a much better deal on the parts and labour and you'll still have a one of a kind car with the stuff you choose to put on it. And, all the stock part in a box, just in case one day you decide you want to bring the vehicle back to stock, or sell it that way and remove all you're cool shiz'nizzy you put on it, or even sell the stcok parts to re-coup some of the costs associated with your project car. I like my personal project, I'm sure I'm one of the few people that chose the combination of parts I have, and it feels good to know I was part of the creation, and my SS is dyno tuned at 475rwhp. naturally aspirated. Next step will be a TVS2300 or a ProCharger Stage II D-1SC with all the dual-fuel pump setup and fancy fixing (cog drive or race valve for affect), and maybe a nitrous kit for the days I need something extra on the track or to take out some joker who just paid $100k for some euro-asian-trash high priced BMWonda original (but maybe some forged internals first, hehehe). Anyway, best of luck to the Baldwin, Redline, Chevy and Motion folks, and all the marketing geniouses that put this thing together for our sakes. I'm more than sure lots of peeps perhaps like Leno will purchase these one of a kind overpriced vehicles to keep in their collection to stare at for the next 25yrs., just to feel good saying "Hey, I've got one of those too.". Sorry, just my .02 cents worth, wanted to be a writter in another life. :-)
