Speed engineering longtubes

Got my speed engineering 1 7/8 longtubes in this afternoon. Super fast shipping and once again great quality welds an headers. Can't wait to get them put on! I'll be sure to upload pictures once they are installed.

Curious how they work out aswell. Do they have any merge spike in the collector where the 4 tubes join?

Yes they have a merge spike. You will be happy with them for sure. I had the same headers and the fitment was excellent. Should have tons of clearance around everything.

2010reddevil - do you have off road pipes with yours? And if so how do you like them?

Yes, I used the o/r pipes and with the Outlaws, it was actually quieter than with manifolds and no cats. Only thing I can guess is that the manifolds dump the exhaust into the pipe in a very abrupt way to cause it to be louder and rougher.

I reused the stock bolts but new GM gaskets. Also used a pair of these clamps for the header to midpipe connection.

I reused the factory clamps for the midpipe to catback connection

As I've said so many times, there's no sense in spending double or more for good headers when these are available. When I get another 5th, you can bet your ass it will have another set of these on it.

Completely by your self I'd say 4 hours maybe 5 and that's taking your time and doing everything like heat tape and cleaning threads and zip tieing hoses away from the headers, if you had a mechanical inclined friend to help you could cut the time in half
