Even the base Camaros still have a much more impressive interior. She agreed to let me drive it and I was disappointed. It felt like driving a waterbed! The shifter felt mushy, inaccurate, and it was hard to find the shift gates. The clutch pedal was very light but only engaged in the first 2-3 inches of travel, the rest of the pedal throw was useless. The gas was sensitive but the drive by wire lag was very disappointing after shifts. The steering was light but didn't feel very connected to the road.

Overall: The Challenger sucks! It looks amazing from the outside but sucks from the driver's seat. I don't know maybe I'm just biased towards my camaro... but aren't we all?

Actually the interior of the Challenger is soft touch and not plain ole plastic. I find the Challenger the better of all the muscle cars, the leather on the seats is a higher grade and the layout has a real radio.

Agreed in all aspects of this post. I had similar thoughts of this vehicle even the seats leather was like ikea couches

Yeah I don't know what the other people are talking about, the gauges and steering wheel looks straight out of the PT Cruiser

Oops my bad, 392

The interior is pretty much the same one in Ram, so can't really say it's a real improvement.

same tire is on my Camaro as is on my Challenger 245/45ZR20s. And All Season not just a summer tire.

470 HP is behind the game?

Come on guys if you are going to slam a car get a clue as to what the specs are before slamming.

Challenger srt8 392 (didn't look at older srt8 so don't know interior)

I put the srt8 higher an the zl1 because of the seats, otherwise they have about the same amount of suede trim pieces. Oh and the radio in the challenger is better too.

As far as handling yeah the challenger to me is a boulevard cruiser and that is not a bad thing, just not my style.
You realize the only difference between a Base Camaro Interior and and ZL1 Interior is the Fabric Panels VS the Ambient Light Panels, a few pieces that are wrapped in either Rubber or Leather or Plastic Fibres (Alcantara) (Depending on the Option you choose) and the seats... Right?

I can't speak for the Challenger as I never looked at them but the Materials in the GT500 and Premium Trim Mustang's are higher quality than the Camaro.

Of course the 2005-2009 Mustang had a horrible interior quality…
Case and Point:

For what it's worth I've only ever owned a Jeep Liberty and its build quality is great (seems to be a Jeep thing) all the other Mopar brands seem to blow chunks...
