Partially yes, it'll crank but it wont ..... turn over? idk lol it'll crank but thats about it. We'rethinking that the timing is off on it because only 3 cylinders are firing.

I know, neither one of the dealers knew what they had. The window says "Blown Motor $950 as is" and they hadn't even checked to see if the motor would do anything. Of course the battery was dead but thats nothing the jumper cables wouldn't take car of. Car has 160708 on the clock right now. but it's MINE! lol I find crazy good deals. (Btw did you get those markers?)

They're okay for right now. once I replace the timing gears and chain i'll go from there.

Nah, I did't get them. That other bidder ticked me off. I was going to keep doing the same he did and just up it a bit at a time to get it back. But, right after I bid on them, he bid again. I said screw it.....and I bid a couple more times just for kicks. He ended up paying more. Still...I was hoping to get it.
No biggie. I'll get another one. Would like to have them for Indy. |

to Z or not to Z

Start with the simplest/cheapest fixes first. just to see if it will run- most likely needs all new timing chain/belt and gears anyway though. But firing on 3 only, sounds like 3 small problems (out of 6) instead of/ or in addition to the timing gears/chain.
