Tri-State meet in Tulsa

Tulsa meet and greet with NWA (North West Arkansas) and Kansas in Tulsa.

Something special will be taking place on the 21st. We will be dedicating this day to a very special member of ours Holly (Gregg and Susan Benningfield's lovely daughter). She is fourteen and has been diagnosed with Leukemia this past Monday (June 25th). OBI will be out at Jim Glover Chevrolet to take blood donations.

Every car Jim Glover Chevrolet sells on this particular Saturday, Jim Glover will make a donation to Holly and the Benningfield family. Anyone in the market please inform them to go to Jimgloverchevy.com to take a looking at the vehicle and get things started for Holly!

FOOD! Oklahoma Joe's BBQ will be catering the event. Food shall be served at 1 PM at Jim Glover Chevrolet.

Two radio stations will be there too. 95.5 and 104.5.

MEETING AREA is 71st and Garnett at the Starbucks in the shopping center by Target at 11:15. We will depart around 11:45 for Jim Glover Chevrolet. Kansas and Arkansas families plan accordingly! OKC crew you better beat them here or harassment will be mine to issue to you!

Please feel free to come up early! We will have activities going on Friday (the day before). Expect a good time at a local bar, cruising Memorial, and the drag strip Friday night

Saturday (after Jim Glover) for those who are staying, we will hopefully conduct a cruise, after cruise we can eat, then go to the midnight drag strip.

Sunday is Cancer Sucks Car Show at Hooters. 9 am - 3 PM.

Gonna be a great weekend! See you all soon!!!

The main concern for blood donors will be the heat.
I'm sure OBI will instruct the donors, but you should plan on resting in a cool area, drinking fluids along with a small snack for at least 30-45 minutes. But, with the intense & crazy heat, I would recommend NOT sitting outdoors for at least a few hours, and to continue to hydrate yourself. If you go down, it will be fast and ugly...[trust me, I know of which I speak ]

What a good turn out 60+ Camaros and the blood drive went awesome. I want to say thanks to Jim Glover Chevrolet for hosting and Oklahoma Joes BBQ for providing the food. Here are some pics from the meet.
