Thumbs up My Edelbrock E-Force dyno results

Made it in to get a tune for all my new mods. Car has Edelbrock E-force with stock puley, Kooks headers/cat-back, ADM Cold Air Instake and a KB boost-a-pump. All installs were done by myself. The car ran well with the stock Edelbrock tune but was throwing O2 codes on occasion. i did drive it fairly easy because i knew it would be a little lean with the additional mods.

Nick Williams and Heintz Racing did the tune. He mentioned how nice the E-force was under normal driving. He really liked the responsiveness over a Maggie he had worked on. While tuning on the dyno he added quite a bit of fuel. It was quite lean.

Here are the results and I whipped up a video too! Quite pleased with this setup. Its a blast to drive. Even with Nitto 505R's I cant keep traction so my next trip to the dragstrip will be interesting.

Nice job. If and when I go supercharger this looks like a great way to go.

I was pretty shocked with the torque numbers. Helps get this fat pig of a car rolling .

Very nice ride and video! I though the stock pulley was 5-6 PSI. Did I confuse “stock” with “standard” pulley? How are the IAT’s?

Yeah. Standard pulley. It should be 5-6 but as others have seen it creeps up a little and made it to 8. I dont have the IAT info.

Awesome video! How hard was it to install the Kooks headers and did you install them at home or do you have a shop and a lift?

Where did you get the KB boost a pump? I might need one too very soon.

Also... at the end I think you meant to say "Installs" not "Intalls." LOL! Who can blame you though after making such a good video!!

I did it at home with a jack and stands. I did have my bro over to help hold the headers while I bolted them on. Pretty easy install. Gobs of room on 5th gens.

no cheap place to buy a BAP.. about everyone at the same price. I got it here http://focus.c-f-m.com/

thanks for the compliments on the video.. I spent some time getting it nice.. I noticed the typo after uploading. Ill fix it eventually :P. was hoping no one noticed but this shows people actually watch it!

How did you get the car high enough off the ground? I don't know if my Craftsman jack and stands will get the car high enough. Then it being sturdy up that high is another concern....

Like I said, that video was very well put together. I need to learn how to do that.
