I'm not gonna point out what site or who told this to me, but Im kinda pissed off at what happened. But here is what I got from a mod on another board.

"Please do not create threads on this site to direct people to another website. Especially when the content is similar. We have had nothing but negative issues in the past when this was done, and we choose to avoid the situation altogether now.

In other words, we have helped out numerous GM related sites, only to get stabbed in the back later on by the same sites."

All I did was start a thread that let people know we were over here on this side, I told them and gave them links to the important pricing and stuff that people may have not seen on another board. I don't understand. This board I posted this on IS NOT dedicated to the 5th gen. It only has a VERY SMALL section made for the 5th gen. So I thought I would be polite and tell people that we are here and don't bash people and respect everyone here and they can find nearly ANY and ALL current info we have that they want on the car, but whatever, I tried...

It really jsut pisses me off cause I was just doing something nice! Im glad those of us on here are the way we are...I'm glad we don't bash each other.

That sucks, but it is okay we are the fourth listing on a google search of "2010 camaro". They will find themselves here someday.

We have an open community with growing membership. It's not up to us to tell them to encourage our site. We do well without their help. A lot of our members are members elsewhere, and we welcome more members from other sites. We've even had threads about other sites. I think this openness makes Camaro5 unique from other sites and keeps it interesting.

We have many members here trying to help everyone with not only information but where and how to buy a 2010 Camaro. As said, it's only a matter of time before people find our site. Once on, you're hooked!

assuming your referring to ls1tech, it is completely understandable. the site has dozens of sponsors that pay for site traffic. if you are encouraging people to go to another site, that is against rules, even if your intentions are good.
