Holy crap I need to find a GM employee right now!!

Each employee can give discounts to two people. This ends Nov. 3 so find someone fast!

I believe you have to use your authorization number within a certain time frame. So if you get your auth number on Nov 3rd, and say it's good for 6 months, I think you would have to take delivery by May. Plus, good luck finding a dealer close by that will accept employee pricing.

How many GM employees are on this board? I have owned quite a few Ford trucks and as a member of the message boards I was given X-Plan which is a really good deal, well at least during economic good times.

Anyway we all thought it was a win/win GM moves some cars, we get a great deal.

The problem is when you order the car the financing is not available until it is purchased next year when it comes in. The Nov. 3rd cutoff puts the purchase out of this window of time. I have called the cust service at GM supplier discounting, and they state the discount will not be available for the purchase of the Camaro or the Vette. They have stated if the dealer gives the discount it is on them. They will not be reimbursed. I was given Edward Pepers mailing address to contact him in a letter to see if he will do anything about it.

I will post after I get his reply to this concern.
