I would love to try that, but I would probably end up as one big stain on one of the retaining walls. I have no unrealistic veiws of my driving abilities.

Yeah it is awesome for a full on race car, no way in hell I would attempt to DD it. At least I could theoretically DD a ZR-1.



If I could afford either of them, that is.

The corkscrew? I've only 'raced' in video games, even then that thing is still a b*tch. I'd be terrified to try it in any car at speed, let alone a monster like the Viper. But I'd love to be the snake charmer that could weave the car through it.

Wonder if GM will allow the ZR1 to take another shot at the record? Reason why I posted that is they changed the tires on the Viper, according to the article, did Chevrolet do any modifications or did they just race with what they had?

They put on fresh tires, not a different type. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires are standard on the car.

PSII's are still listed on a lot of 'spec sheets' for the car, including some that Doge still displays, but they actually come with Cup tires.
