Post Camaro National's 2012

What's going on 5th Gen family, man a good time was had by one and all yesterday at the Camaro National's in Frederick MD. Although there was some dark clouds at times, not a drop of rain was in the area. Just short of 400 Camaro's all classes were there. It was my first time showing and it was awesome seeing all of the Camaro's.

It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. If you were being judged, the competition was no joke and the judges did not play around when they were inspecting your car. There Camaro's from NYC, NJ, TX, CA a large convoy from our maker Canada and numerous other states. Plan on making it next year. Here are a few pics.

Just wish they separated the weekend from Carlisle so that some of us could attend both, but guess I have to remember the point is to spite Carlisle events. GM nationals were great with vendors offering plenty of 5th gen products, which Frederick lacked more than dearly last year. Hope to get the opportunity to do both at some point since each have great things of different types. But again not likely ever to happen.

One thing I missed was SLP being that they were in Frederick and I was hoping to talk to someone in person about Their supercharger packages & the ZL series cars.

I hit both of them, Carlisle on Friday and Frederick on Saturday. Didn't drive any of my Camaros though. Made it home in time for my Clubs Show on Saturday night. Busy weekend for sure.

Thanks for posting the pics! It was a fun time, a great turnout. Yes, the judges were crazy tough. I think I see my engine bay in your pics. ;-)

By the way, that white wide body. Those wheels were over 15k. That's CRAZY. The owner is a car collector and has about 140 cars in his collection. So dropping over 15k in wheels for one ride, why not. Lol

Thanks guys, the only thing I can say is, if you have that kind of cash flow it must be very nice.

It was my 1st time at the event. nice pics and you got a few of my car too. The judges were pretty tough. When they wipe the inside/back area of your wheels with their finger looking for dirt and brake dust.. that's getting competitive for sure. I may go back next year.
