No offense to others but I would be embarrassed to be apart of the army or air force!!! and would not feel safe going outside the wire with them!! I have personal experience for my reasons!!

Brain washed much? you're like the majority of young Marines I've encountered...don't worry you'll gain some maturity at some point.

I was a seabee for a number of years and spent the majority of my time with Marines...good ones not ignorant ones such as yourself.

I then joined the Air Force and saw another side of the military...people that think. Times have also changed for the AF as they are deployed with both the Army and Marines on a constant basis now doing things like convoy duty and prison duty.

I spent the last year of my service as a prison superintendent in iraq....I'm a aircraft maintainer by trade. I saw many mortars and was shot at a plenty.

Save you boot camp bs...you're doing a disservice to all the branches including the MC with the ignorance flowing out of your mouth.

THANK YOU for setting it straight! How embarassing for this guy to even post these comments about other branches of the service! We ALL protect our country for the same reasons! All the branches of the service act as a team in the SAME game. Think of it this way... In the sport of Football yo can't have a team without a defense, nor without an offense.

Sauce: As a soldier and an American, how can you say those things and put a uniform on every morning. Shame on you.

I spent six years in my beloved Corps as a grunt from 1985-91 where everyday was a parade and every meal a banquet. My last six months were in Desert Storm attached to the 1MEF, Task Force Ripper. Served with:
C co. 1st Bn. 25th Marines 86-91
B co. 1st Bn. 25th Marines 85-86

USMC - 20 years and 4 days!!! (1987-2007). Though I don't look much like a Marine from the neck up these days... Once a Marine, always a Marine. It wasn't just service for me. It was more like religion. May God continue to bless my beloved Corps.

To all my fellow service-members, regardless of what Branch, thanks for all you do/have done. I've served with every Branch and been proud of you all. It's great to be on the same team with the finest Navy, Army, and Air Force the world has ever seen. Much respect to you all...

SEMPER FI!!!!

i know, it's super late to be asking this, but i never could get a good answer from my recruiters

what should i pack for Air Force OTS? i'm leaving for BOT @ Maxwell AFB tomorrow & don't really know what all i need other than the few things mentioned on the purchase list. i heard somewhere to take 3 days of clothes, toiletries, vital documents, etc, but that's all i've heard
