I don't.

BF WD has a few quirks:
1. it separates easily..... esp if stored in a hot garage - I keep it inside and shake it for a full 60 secs before using
2. I agree with the above - I run a ring around the pad and then a 25 cent size dollop on a 2 x 2 space.
3. It comes off so easily, I let it dwell before buffing off for 15- 20 min
4. wait 12 hours before adding anything else

I use a lot more than a dime size, bit I also work a much larger section than 2x2. On a Camaro my sections are:

Divide the hood in half. 2 sections
Front fender panel (smaller, less sealant)
Each door is one section and hit the mirrors
Divide roof in half and hit the pillars
Each rear quarter
Trunk lid
Rear fascia
Front fascia

Does that make sense? I'm doing a truck tomorrow I can take some pics if its not too late.

That makes perfect sense, And answer my question!

Pretty much that was my problem... it's hard to spread a dime size amount using the machine...
this afternoon is the wax turn...

don't get too hung up on trying to get a super thin coat - if you use a bit more and the pad glides more, you're getting the same protection, just using a bit more....the only message is you need to get is put a coat on the paint and buff it off, no diff than the way we used waxes for the last 20 years....

but I hate the buff off, getting wax inthe crevices and insignias, it's why I'd much rather put on Blackfire crystal seal more often for the same protection

Already did. Just saying it'd be easier than typing it in every thread.
