Sure, though...I am not familiar enough with Port Gamble to know where the BBQ place is

To be fair, I did quickly check Google Maps to see if I could spot a BBQ place and didn't spot it.

Gracias! See you in a couple of days!

Anyone else thinking of going?

This is much closer than I was thinking it was going to be. I should be able to join in for this. Where was the cruise going to take us from Port Gamble?

Sounds good. Are you taking the the Edmonds Ferry over? Maybe we could meet in Seattle somewhere and "Float the cars on over together".

Traveling North into Port Gamble it will be on your right next to a road side coffee stand.

Still doing this one again in June KEVIN.

Well, at the very least, we'll head west from there to Lake Crescent. Some great pull-outs and nice spots for photo shoots.

I'll post up a picture of the route I'm going to take. You don't need to join me for the longer part of this...you're welcome to head back after Lake Crescent. I'm still trying to decide if going to Neah Bay will just take too long, as the drive out there is pretty cool as well.

I live near Edmonds, so even if it's just me & you coming over the ferry...we can meet somewhere.

There's a QFC not too far before you get to where the Edmonds Ferry is, or we can just meet at the ferry itself. I think the ferry I'm going to be taking will be the 9:40 one.

OK, here is the route I'm going to take. You're welcome to join me for the entire route, but anyone that wants to turn back at Lake Crescent is welcome to. I would say that the drive past that point will be pretty nice though.

I'm really not sure if I'm going to take the road to Neah Bay. It's fun, and if it's not too late, you can even hike down to Cape Flattery and Hole in the Wall.

I may just do the loop without heading that way though...and will probably discuss that with anyone that does want to head that way.

Here's the route...

The QFC would be fine that way we could follow you. What time should we be at the QFC? And since I do not know Edmonds at all do you have a address for the QFC so I can GPS it? Thanks

Basically, you get to the Edmonds Ferry by following SR104 (Edmonds Way). You'll go under 99 (Aurora), and keep going until you see the QFC on the right. Beforehand, you'll see a Gas Station/Car Wash on the right, then a Bowling Alley and a PCC market. QFC will be past the light on your right. Pretty much can't miss it.

If you go past the McDonalds on the left, you've gone too far...
