Why is the LS so GOOD? video

Neat video series from /Drive. They only have two up so far, but were very informative and fun to watch.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Tom Nelson builds amazing engines and cars. He is one of the most underrated engines builders in the U.S.

Here is a twin turbo 2010 Camaro he made a couple years back. I think the car belongs to a forum member. I haven't seen posts about it for a while though...

Why does he keep saying "unlike a small block or a big block"?
Is not the LS a small block?
In this case a LS3?

Best answer I've seen on this subject is from this thread, post #8

The LS series is not a development of the Small Block either, it's a new design, so when people say "is that a small block or a big block" the answer is "no". The LS series is a "Generation IV Block".

a good test: check fitment for small block Chevy parts in your LS3. How many fit?

I was surprised to hear his thoughts about stroker kits and the skirts around 10-11 minutes in.
