IT has been done. Order placed for my 2011 2SS/RS LS3. I'm so excited!!

The wait is going to kill me... I've been waiting for years now, so 8-10 weeks shouldn't matter much, right ?

Congrats! I did the same thing last week. My vette sold today, so I can breathe now since I don't have to pay for both of them. The only thing that sucks is driving a slow car for a little while before the turbos go on.

Black with silver stripes and chromed OEM wheels upon delivery. I himhawed on the color for the entire time I've been lusting for this car and finally decided what I knew would happen all along... this now makes the 3rd black car I have to take care of. Both daily drivers in the household are also black... but oh well, Camaro will get preference.

I am thinking about the black too. I am afraid of the care, but I might just pull the trigger. The question will then be stripes or no stripes? If stripes, white or silver? It is driving me crazy! :bangdesk:

I too was apprehensive about taking on ANOTHER black car (mine and wife's DDs are black) as it is a very difficult color to keep clean. But when I was at the dealership looking at all of the colors available in person, which you should before deciding, I had to go with what looked meanest to me... regardless of the care involved. For me it wasn't as hard of a choice then, consdidering that I knew it will only be driven in good conditions and garaged all other times, which makes it much easier to take care of the black paint.

I'll say one thing for sure... this car looks amazing in ALL of the colors, for different reasons, you just have to figure out what color fits your reasons for buying the car the most.
