No seat heater on passenger side

I have a 2010 2SS and the seat heater comes on only for about 3-4 seconds and then turns off (lights go out). The drivers side is ok. Any help?

It's defective...Might be the elements in the seats, a bad connection, switch or relay.

Well, question one is...is there someone SITTING in the passenger seat? Because I think there are sensors that will turn it off if no one is in the seat.

If you have a passenger and it's doing this...take it to the dealer.

Ive had the same problems with my passenger side heated seat with someone sitting in it. I brought it in to the dealer and sat for over an hour for them to come back and say they couldnt get it to repeat the problem. they told me I had to come in immediately when it was happening without shutting the car off. Now its in storage for the winter and never go the problem figured out. If anyone else hears anything let me know please.

It doesnt matter if a passenger is in the seat or not. The light comes on and then goes right off. I guess a dealership visit is next. Thanks for the help guys...

I just had my drivers seat fixed for the same thing. They ended up replacing the entire seat under warranty.

Hate to go OT (who needs seat heaters anyway, especially south of the Mason-Dixon line? Kidding ), but Lupe, I love your profile picture. Sea Fury, right? Is it yours?

That's one of the reasons I couldn't get a Mustang - I'd be too temped to do this:

I had the same problem with the SS when I first got it. After three attempts of replacing things, the GM Tech Support traced it to a bad ground under the drivers seat.

My seat heaters don't work when it's cold! The dealer doesn't have a clue what is wrong. They work all the time except when it's cold. What could it be?

There are no sensors. I use my passenger seat heater to warm up my gloves all the time on the way to work before i go outside! Works great, lol!
