Variable Ride Height
Hey Now,
Is there any 'fairly' easy way to have variable ride height with the ZL1. Something so that you could drop it down at the track, and lift it up at home? Is this even poss with the Magneto-ride. Thanks. |

I really don't know about all that, Pfadt or someone was working on coilovers that worked with the MRS, but I hadn't heard updates on that, think they really want you to just ditch the MRS and go with regular coilovers. I kind of say no thanks to that idea.

Pfadt is working on a set of coilovers to work with the magnetic ride, but so far they have not been released.

I would think you would have to install some kind of hydraulics or (air shocks)? IMO anyway you do it your adding weight and possibly messing with the ZL1's unique suspension and if you are going to track it like you said you may lose performance.

Thats kinda what I'm thinking. Air shocks would be able to lift/lower the car, but I have no idea what effect it will end up having on the car's performance. I doubt it would help anything though, because I've never heard of a high-performance air ride kit. Maybe one exists, but most of the time air ride is used to provide a cushy suspension, lower a vehicle, or even out the rake on a truck.
