Sorry it took so long. I finally got to it this weekend. My son took pics and a video I will post them and soon as he sends them to me.
YES it does work! No programming needed for the heater to work. My only issue which they say was my fault is I got the wrong air bag. The swap for the correct one is on the way so I had an air bag light on. All controls worked including the paddle shifters. The wheel starts heating almost immediately. I took my time and it took less than 2 hours. Probably could have done it a lot quicker.
I did NOT disconnect the battery! I don't believe in that. I just pulled the air bag fuse and waited 10 mins. I used an add a fuse for the heater circuit. All in all it was pretty easy. I did swap the old wheel back on because my wife was complaining about me driving that car with no air bag.
I will post pics and the video as soon as he sends them.

Any questions ask away!

Ok Part Numbers as promised:
Steering Wheel 23379944 but this will vary depending on color stitching and I think there is a suede version also. I got leather but I do have to dye the stitching no IOM version.
Clock Spring 23465301 take your time easy swap
Connector for the heated part 60296271 I got this from ebay around 15 bucks.

Add a fuse from advanced. I think I put a 7 in it.

Air bag I won't post until I get the correct one lol. I thought I had the right number so when it comes back We will see. Curious they did not charge Me restocking or anything so maybe it was their fault? Time will tell.

Great to hear! Congrats Glad to know that the pin outs were all the same and no programming was required especially to have the Paddle Shift tabs working without any programming ...don't think that will be case the case with Rev matching tabs on a manual wheel. Smart idea about pulling the fuse instead of disconnecting the battery. Can't wait to see the pics.

Now it is My understanding that if you Don't already have steering wheel controls then you WILL need reprogrammed for that.
I thought about connecting My old air bag up and mounting it somehow so I could keep the wheel on but the connectors were different.

I really hated taking it back off but I did leave the new clock spring on there so it will be a 10 minute swap when the correct air bag comes in.

And btw you guys were right, I did NOT need a steering wheel puller.

This is definitely next on my mods list.

Now we're going to need to find part numbers for the various styles of steering wheels. Rainbow1616, is your wheel black leather with white stitching?

Mine is black leather, SS emblem at the bottom and the stitching is like a tan but its criss crossed like. Now I just have to find the thread on how to dye it orange because all the rest of my stitching is orange.
Actually it looks exactly like the first picture you posted on page 1

I will say though that My concern all along is will the new air bag satisfy the bcm and will the light go out or will I need reprogrammed for that. This part I do not know yet but everything else did completely function 100%

What's the difference in airbags? I would think all 6th gen airbags would be the same.
