He's going to drive nine hundred miles getting there, 1200 racing, and nine hundred back home...

I had to post this for future reference and possible use...

I'll most likely have the camaro up on craigslist tomorrow, need to make room for the new M6 ZL1 I'll be getting.
You never know when it might be useful...

And the big one...

I spoke with Frank at the Driveshaft Shop... and ordered my nine inch kit.... It'll come with the WaveTrac diff, 3.07 gears, 33 spline stubs, and a one piece 3.5" driveshaft....

I'll finally be able to launch Brandi without worrying about leaving my diff on the track...

Yesterday, I washed Brandi with dawn dishwashing liquid and got all the wax and what not off of her and then clay bar'd the entire car...

Today, I got started on the orange haze and swirl remover... and got most of the car done with that... I still have a few surface scratches to concentrate on as well as the small areas and around the grill opening and on the blade spoiler...

It's going pretty well, but it got too dark to go any further and Debbie invited me out to dinner with her and a couple of friends...

Again, a big shout out to Jason, our local Adams rep for the stuff I'm using and for the instructions and help along the way... I'm getting Brandi ready for our local show Saturday in San Antonio... She is only going to be on display, and not competing for class awards...

I'm judging the car show in one or two of the classes...

On a side note, I got a text from Corey and he has ordered my boost controller, an AMS 1000 and a shift light... So, Monday, when she goes in the hospital, in addition to the diff and trans work... we'll be installing the boost controller, the shift light, and fixing the wastegate issue... Well, precision will fix that part but...

Should'nt be long before I'll be able to launch the best looking and fastest 5th Gen Camaro in the area down the track...

It'll really "pop" once you hit it with the polish! I checked out the diff you're getting. Serious chunk of metal!

lol, I figure about 250 lbs of metal...(and it's probably not that much...) but... it ought to hold up to some serious launches... I'll be thrilled to be able to do the first burnout with both tires since the build...

I've got some focused work areas where I need to try to get rid of some surface scratches... hopefully tomorrow I'll manage to get those out...

Looks great, but those bushing appear to be the wrong color.

Phone call coming you're way Pete, as I need to at least get the diff bushings for the front two journals... I think I read where you recommend the Delrin for the back one and yours for the two fronts... Bearing in mind, noise isn't an issue for me, just what works the best...

Brandi is headed to the hospital in the am... When I get her back she have a better built trans, the new DSS rear axles, drive shaft, and the turbo issue will be fixed...

I'll try to find a good evening to take her to the track and wring her out a lil bit...After the diff gears are broken in...

She'll still only be on drag radials...
