PLEASE HELP Siderockers

I went through a drive thru and there is this awkward curb that juts out that I did not see when going through a curve. Anyway I popped the curb and and it scraped the driver side side rocker... I planned on getting the gm gfx this december but I am wondering am I okay becuase they will just take off the side rocker and put a new one? I drive a 2012 SS

You are okay if there is not sheet metal damage underneath, and even then, the new rocker should go on fine. The GM gfx rockers replace the regular ones, they dont stick onto them or anything

Yea I look extensively underneath the car. The only damage I could see is scrapes at the bottom of the side rockers. You can only see them if you get on the ground and look. Thanks guys. I can't believe that the curb was like that. I am normally so careful.

Yea they just replace the stock rockers. I also have the gfx side rockers/skirts. I learned my lesson a while ago that if the drive thru is jacked up with sharp or weird turns i just park and walk in. No use trying to make it and scratch your rims or rockers.
