LS vs Eclipse GT

Okay, I have a question. My cousin just got a 2009 eclipse gt and wants to race. His is bone stock and mine has vararam intake, borla custom axle-back and tune... Who would win? The track opens on sundays here so we will probably go tomorrow. I just want to know what to expect.

My quick searching turned up low to mid 14s in the 1/4 for a stock V6 GT.

Assuming a good launch and fair conditions your car should be capable of high 13s... I'd bet on very high 13s or low 14s for your run. It will be close.

I would think you but I don't know the power of the GT or the weight. I just think there probably lighter with only around 200hp crank, just guessing.

350 or so lbs lighter, with 265 HP.

So down about what, 60 hp from the OP's lightly modded Camaro? 70? Not that it really matters, because even stock vs stock the Camaro should win. If the other guy was lightly modded vs a stock V6 Camaro ... then it gets to be a good deal closer

Yes but sadly the time slip printer was broken.
I ran a 14.4 consistently while he ran 14.7. Except for a hero run where I ran a 14.2. Not bad considering it was 98 degrees out.

Either way, apparently he wants a rematch so ill get.the time slips then hopefully

If you best was a 14.2 and his was a 14.7 thats a pretty good spanking in my book.

I agree that 14.2 for the V6 in 98 degree heat is pretty good.
