Yes. That would definitely protect it from water. Pm sent.

Well - I might as well Show these - I wish I had better light, but with winter basically here, light kinda sucks:

I really can't say enough about how bad ass my car looks now thanks to Pete. This hood just makes the car - and of course the ZL1 front end just is the cherry on top.

I'll post some more in my soon to be created build journal. Thanks Pete for everything!

Showstopper quality, didn't expect anything less. Looks awesome, Pete!

Anyone on the fence about getting this hood, I can speak from experience how much Pete puts into his products and his work. You will not be disappointed! There's a reason he's Mr. Showstopper!

They are not cut out. With his hood we drilled a small 1/8" hole only through the top layer of the hood. This way the water will drain in between the two layers of the hood then drain out of the pre existing drain holes on the bottom side of the hood. If you look at the pic of the underside of the hood you will see strategically placed drain holes every so often. Goes to show you we didn't just slap a hood together to try to make a couple bucks. We are trying to put the best possible product out there.

I don't know of the top of my head how wide they are. Not at the shop now. But whatever the width is I don't see why the decals couldn't be cut to the proper size that you need. All of those decals are cut with a computer program and could be tweaked if necessary.

The green car you see in the pics eventually plans on adding the same stripes in the near future.

I am contemplating it - with the black vents - I almost like it too much to put stripes on it. I'm really torn here. I'll have to whip up some photoshops to make my decision.
