Yep, I love the car. The skip shift only comes up now and then - usually when it's not convenient. It's a simple fix, not a big deal,

I can imagine up there in NJ it's a bit colder so the skip shift comes up more often. believe me, if it happened any more than it does now (which it really doesn't ever happen) I would definitely be doing the same as you and getting the skip shift eliminator. It's only happened to me twice and both times it was annoying and pointless (for me at least).

I got mine October 22nd. I have added the Carbon Flash Metallic Splash Guards, the GMPP Track Pack exhaust and a K&N Cold Air Intake. I have the skip shift eliminator but haven't put it on yet. Next mod will be tinting the windows.

At least one advantage of having a euro model ... I don't have that skip shift

yeah what's the deal with that?? they had it on my 2000 Z28 and for those of us that live in the city, it's a huge PITA. think GM would have learned their lesson on this already. i mean you absolutely cannot be stuck in traffic with a 1-4 shift option only. it simply does not work. idiots!

random question...has anyone or can anyone pull their car into the sun where it is shining on the side of the car and look to see if the paint appears to have different shades to it? i swear my driver's side door looks like it has a faint hue change every 6 inches...lighter, darker, lighter, darker, etc. anyone noticed this? it is extremely subtle and you'd probably have to stare for a minute or too to see it...but i'm just wondering if it is the CFM paint or if something is wrong with my door paint!

I have seen what you mean by different shades. In the sun the car gives off a few different colors. People have commented that they see blue and purple hues. However, I have noticed under the hood and between panels, where the door meets the fender or fender meets the A pillar, the paint appears to be missing a stage of the paint and has an almost tan appearance.

Hey there welcome! And congrats!

How do you like the track pack? I was actually looking at the GMPP track pack thread last night and wondered what it was like.

Hmmmmm, I'm impartial. I like the plate at the bottom of the shifter but idk about the handle. I do think it's much cooler than stock though.

I'll go out and look at my car today, it's in the sun in a parking lot so I'll see if I notice anything.

so can you see that "tan" appearance on the outermost paint, or is it just in the edges and grooves where you notice it?

My dealer has 2 45th Verts in. I looked at them yesterday, and I have to say I love the the color and the stripes, they just look cool. Wish I could get one!

Very nice cars to everyone in this thread.
