Main Street America Car Show - San Diego 7/22

Only 1 week left to register for the Main Street America People's Choice Car Show, to be held on Sunday, July 22nd at Embarcadero Park North (near Seaport Village) in San Diego. The park is one of the best car show sites on the planet, next to beautiful San Diego Bay.

The show is a fundraiser for the San Diego Center for the Blind. The winners of the 26 classes (including early and late model Pony Car classes) will be chosen by the registrants and spectators, with two awards per class, plus Best of Show, Club Participation and sponsor trophies.

The $25 registration fee gets you a reserved spot with the other cars in your class, with your club, or with another registrant (your choice). You also get one free lunch. But your registration must be postmarked no later than July 14. There will be NO day-of-show entries.

A huge raffle will include a $750 gift certificate from Bridgestone/Firestone, a 3-night stay at the Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, gift certificates from the Corvette Diner and dozens more, worth thousands of dollars.

For more info, contact Craig at cjm63sw@cox.net or 619-723-2020.

Hi Craig, sorry we are not going to be able to make it this year. Work is getting in the way... count us in for next year though.

For those of you who are thinking about going this is a nice event. I will find some pictures from last year and post them.

Sorry, we're not set up for online registration. Maybe next year. If you really want to come, just send in a registration with a note and we'll wait to deposit your check until after the show. Right now, we have more Mustangs entered than Camaros. That's just wrong!

Thanks for the plug, Travis, Trish and Rob. Wish you could be here, but family and the job have to come first.

As of this evening, Main Street America is officially SOLD OUT! All 384 spaces are gone. Thanks to the Camaro5 members who registered. You will be receiving a confirmation shortly, if you don't have one already.

MSA is a true people's choice event. We hand out 300 ballots to spectators as well as all of the participants. So if you didn't register, you can still come vote for your favorite in each of the 26 classes.

Hey guys you missed a great show, I parked with about 7 Camaros, Phil the owner of the ZL1 was there with his ZL1 and his 69 Orange Hugger Z-28. He won himself a trophy with his Z-28. There were four members of the Camaro5 So-Cal Family.
