Would you buy a Camaro if it was a previous rental?

So I went to start my xm radio subscription as there are no good radio stations where I am stationed. When I went to activate it I was having issues with it so I called tech support. I gave them my radio ID and they were having issues. They asked me if my car was a corporate car and I told them no. After a while we figured it out and all was well. But after that question it got me thinking. I purchased my car with 8000 miles on it. When I got the car they showed me the carfax but it just listed another owner but not who it was. Well I ordered another one and it turns out my car started its life as a Hertz rental car. Normally I would not buy a rental but I have not had any issues with my car in the year I have had it. It was well maintained when I got the car. Just makes me wonder why they would sell the car after only 8000 miles. Would you buy a low mileage previous rental car?

I am not bummed about it. It was low miles and I have had zero issues with the car. It was in showroom quality when I bought the car. I have 30000 miles on it and still trouble free.

I did and also got the extended warrenty , Ins. Comp. then assumes all risks ,I have not had single problem with it , It had 17,000 miles on it ,I now have 32,000 on her, I got such a good deal on it the state sent me a letter saying it was undervalued and i had to send in proof of price i paid for it. I also bought a Saturn Icon ,about 7 years ago with 30,000 on her , Now she has 107,000 and still runs great, Maybe i am just lucky ? But i would not hesitate to buy another as long as the price is right. I am sure you will see tons of videos with hole shots etc, To that i say have you ever pull a hole shot ? These Camaros are made for it , And besides with the warrenty i am good no matter what.

Here is the thing with the vids, how do you know there were never burnouts done in the car before you bought it? There are plenty of stories of people doing burnouts, drifts, and even getting into accidents before the cars even make it to the dealerships.

Because I ordered it from the dealer. It had 5 miles on it when I picked it up.

I treat my rentals with respect and care. I was raised to always respect other peoples property and return it in the same if not better condition. Just the way I am.

I have a brother who works at a dealership and he has told me of times when customers would order a car and something would happen to it in transit and they would have to fix it. Most times they inform the person before he/she takes delivery but there have been times when some sales people would conceal the fact. It happens.
