My dad has gone through this the past year. They ended up removing a piece the size of a dime from his bladder that was cancer. He he had rechecks every three months and so far is clean. Never had to do chemo, but has said the scope through the penis isn't vey comfortable. Doctor told him he was lucky yo have caught it very early and that if it doesn't come back within a year one is usually good.
