buying drag radials need help

I have a 10.5 z06 rims and necessary room to run it. What im not sure of is what drag radial to put on it. Car made 440whp 409rwtq at wheels. I wanna know what is going to give me the best traction under a hard launch and what size as far as height i should run
Also. Car weighs 3580

MT ET Street or M&H drag radials are the two best.

Cheap pricing on MT's : http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=399459

Jegs had the lowest pricing on the M&H last time I checked.

Nitto NT05R's are the next best (pretty far behind the other two, especially where the price is so close)

I can't think of another that I would run as a true drag radial.

Are you looking for a Qualcom tire or will you be going to Barona or up to Fontana?

From what I've heard, Barona does a pretty good job with prep so the top two tires are what I'd go for. I'll be getting the MT's for my 18's

I'm getting a set of 18" ZL1 replicas 18 x 11" rears and 18 x 8" fronts. I'll be putting the narrowest tire I can on the front so I can have a cheap matching set.

Oh and I forgot to add, I have z06 wheels also, 18x10.5. And have run both the mickeys and the M&H. Can't complain about either.

MT and M&H best drag radial traction wise got it but how do they compare to nt05R if you were to drive around on the street with them, in good weather of course. Will they all wear about just as fast or will the nt05R last a lot longer to make up for it not gripping as well
