Burnouts, anyone?
Let me see your 1LE burnouts if you have recorded any!

Rather watch other people do it. I like my tires. Did both tires spin? Mines limited slip.

Me either. I turned TC off and tried to lay down a quick strip of rubber and wasn't able to do it. Couldn't even get the tires to chirp. I think it was too cold outside. I can roast the tires on my V6 fourth gen if I want but at 156K miles, I'm afraid of breaking something.

Too cold to spin tire? That's when the Goodyear's are the slickest. Burnouts are one of these cars strong points! You might be doing something wrong.

Maybe they're spinning without making any noise, or at least not enough to hear and associate with a smoky burnout in progress.


FWIW, I wouldn't intentionally do any burnouts on tires costing $250/tire either. Maybe on the very last day before they were going to be swapped out because they were all used up and into the wear bars. But even then, only maybe.
