How much does the 5 star crash rating option for the Mustang cost?

I have owned both the Camaro 2SS and Mustang GT premium.. I feel like the Camaro is more car for the money and has better options standard. the 2SS sound system is better than the optional shaker 500 , the cruise is better in a Camaro. HUD.. better carpet and floor matts. I like the solid axle in the mustang better than the IRS in the Camaro but i'm not a corner carver. I think they are both great cars and can't wait to see whats next for the 2016 Camaro restyle.

Yea, you do get a whole lot even the 4 pack gauges! which I think every modern muscle car should have those as a option! The 13-14 mustang's are great cars, too!

Yea, I don't get how ppl go buy a car just because it's cheaper than what they really want! I could've bought a 2013 5.0 for 3k less than my v6. I can't get close to that on a SS.
You got screwed if you paid more for a v6 Camaro then a V8 Mustang.

It's possible. I got my 2011 5.0 Premium with 3.73s, HIDs (before they were standard) amd security pack for 32k out the door.

Those gauges have the most useless placement ever.

I agree on the Camaro as being more car for the money... I only had My 2013 Mustang GT Premium for less than 2 months before trading it in on a 2014 SS.
MY GT premium sticker was close to the SS and yet didn't have brembos, Navigation, had 18" wheels, horrible 500 shaker sound system, prop rod for the hood, plastic everywhere( except the seats and steering wheel) ...
Also with the Camaro I have 1 year xm radio, 6 months on-star and 2 years, 24,000 k oil changes.... To me, the Camaro seems to have more to offer at the moment for the 2014 Model year, however that might change once I see a 2015 Mustang GT in person

That's weird because I find the interior on the Camaro to be more plastic ridden then the Mustang, Mustang at least has a soft touch dash and not that hard plastic partially covered in fake leather. Door panels on the SS are plastic too where the Mustang has leather inserts. The Shaker 500 is terrible, and I don't know how they can consider that an upgrade over anything. And base price on a GT Premium is 35,300 a 2SS starts at 38,100. That's quite a difference in MSRP. And it still doesn't come with HID lights, you have to get the RS package for that which is another $1300. So you're at 40k already. You option it out with Nav and compare with to a GT with Brembos and Electronics Package and the Camaro is still more expensive by about 1,000 to have the same features as the GT.

Speaking of the 4 pack... couple of items in my 14 Mustang that my 10 Camaro didn't...

Mustang "gauge" mode allows me to display:
- AFR (Ford uses wideband o2 sensors)
- Intake temp
- Cylinder head temp
- Oil pressure and temp but only low, normal and high
- Voltage

Also the "Track Apps" is kind of cool... accelerometer, speed and braking tests...

Nope,! mostly everyone with a 2011 and up 1LT /RS paid over 30,000! I see a lot of ppl paying 33,000 for their 1LT!

Yea, I see them all day for that or less than but I paid 34,000 for my 1LT/RS. But it did have a new color and had just came from the factory !

Those gauges have the most useless placement ever.
Yea, but that's where they was in the 60's Camaro ! I wouldn't have it anywhere else but I would bring it out farther!

LOL... The mustang do have more plastic , every mag and website even said that! The mustang has was less to offer ! Where's the suede at in the mustang ? You can get the Camaro with a suede steering , shift knob and suede dash! The mustang don't have a sunroof option or HUD ! The Camaros even comes with bigger tires .

Yeah, but the apps are actually useful, the gauges are not...unless you're parked.
