Thank you, I ordered the RPI version looks really tall and cover looks similar to the Suede on the shifter. I will try that if its to big or looks terrible I can dissect it use its templet (pieces) trim down the foam and try recovering it in a nice leather or matching Suede (alcantara). also ordered there cup holders that go on the passenger footwell side of the console.

The RPI is not suede.
It is a nylon cover. It kind of pops into place. It is not as tall as the pics at RPI.com that pic is before the front is locked into place by pushing down

2. Yeah says Nylon but looks (in a pic) sorta similar to the suede in color. If I am not happy it will give me a place to start I am not good with woodworking. Now if it were all metal and needed to be welded I am your guy that's my comfort zone. Figure if I hate the cover but like the fit I can have it reupholstered professionally in suede or leather. |

Yes, I have one.
Yes, I like it very much. I ordered it last summer. It has held up great. I was kind of worried about the nylon cover; that it would shred easily, but it is perfect. It has a squashable yet resilient foam filler that instantly springs back to its full shape. You just push it into the cup holder, and then the front catches under the tiny lip and it stays in place. It also just presents a better line, making the interior look better I think.

I will be honest,
If the RPI one didn't fit so perfectly, it would not be worth the $40. If it were a generic universal part that you could get at Pep Boys it would be worth $15-20 tops, but as it does fit like a glove it is worth every penny

Since I checked the fitting by hand, both the ones I made fit really well. I hope you like your RPI one. It cost me less than $40 to do my leather ones above just as a point of reference.

Yeah and you did great job. If I tried making my own you would think a kindergarten kid did it. If I don't like the material I will try get it reupholstered. USPS say delivery Monday so I should have it and the cup holder tomorrow.
