Anyone have a Chevy car cover for their vert?

Hi guys...I was looking to get a car cover to keep that "pesky dust" off my pride and joy..(well...its a close second after my 7 year old...but the more I drive it...its gaining ground.....quickly).

I found this on eBay ->

I checked with this guy..and he said this car cover for the Coupe won't work on the vert....which I find..well...unbelievable.

Has any vert owner picked up a chevy car cover and does it work?

(PS: I did search..but didn't find a thread on this..so..sorry if I have duplicated!)

Go Caps! Go Wings!

The Onstar antenna is in a different place so the vert needs it's own type of cover. I thought I saw somewhere that had them. I'll see if I can find it and post.

Chevy.com has the following under the accessories link. Different number for the Vert than the Coupe. Does anyone know if you really need to wait 3 months before using the cover? I read that in the package the cover came in. I was only going to use it in my garage so no sun issue. By the way - it is a pretty nice cover - high quality. It should be for $350, right?

Add to list Outdoor - Gray with Black Stripes, Camaro Logo - Convertible 92223304 $ 350.00

Add to list Outdoor - Red with Black Stripes, Camaro Logo - Convertible 92223303 $ 350.00

I have the 20960814 cover for my vert. (GM parts direct $215) It's an indoor only cover and fits great. Very easy to put on and take off.

I just ordered an indoor/outdoor from GM Parts Direct. Went with Gray with Black Stripes, Camaro Logo - Convertible 92223304 for $230.00. Figured for an extra $15.00, I can go either or.

This relates to the material of the cover, not whether its for a Vert or Coupe.

Several other posts I've read said the GM cover doesn't hold up well. You may want to look into California Car Covers as an option. I've had covers from them for other cars; great fit, and great materials. Haven't looked into a convertible cover from them yet.

92223304 Brand: GM Gray w/ Black Stripes, Camaro Logo (Outdoor use)

92223303 Brand: GM Red w/ Black Stripes, Camaro Logo (Outdoor use)

these 2 covers are vert specific

the 3 others are given as vert covers too.

I ordered the cover (from GM) when I ordered my vert. Fits like a glove. It has pouch sewn-in for the antennae on the decklid.

I ordered one from GM when I ordered the car also, but mine came with the shark fin pouch on the roof instead. Salesman is checking into it, and will give me an answer when I (supposedly) pick it up tomorrow when the top leak at the rear gasket gets finished.
Didn't know there was an indoor vs outdoor cover. What is the difference in material? Mine is stored inside (when it's home)

I didn't know there were indoor/outdoor covers either till I read these posts. My only choices were colors when I ordered mine. My vert stays inside anyways.
