passenger seat will not recline

we just bought a new to us 2010 camaro 2ss and the passenger seat will not recline past 90 degrees. Has anyone else had this problem or is this all the adjustment there is. I know that I hear a clicking sound once it reaches 90 degrees of adjustment. thanks

Hello camarossforus.

First off, congratulations and welcome. Sorry you're having some difficulties with your seat recline. I would like to look into this issue for you. Could you please private message me your VIN and current mileage. I will update you in the message with all useful info and next steps.

Hello williewalker,

You are welcome to private message me your information and brief on this issue and I will look into this matter for you also. Have you had this issue diagnosed already?

Does the 2010 have a power recliner? I noticed mine did the same thing after I released the seatback so my lab could get in the back. When I put the seatback back, it didn't latch all of the way so I made sure it was properly latched and recline has worked fine ever since. Give it a shot.
