from what i've read, (Chris@Borla) said the ATAK system for the GM GFX kit should be released soon!
If you don't want to go as far as the ATAK, the Sport and Touring versions are available already.

What has drawn you to the Borla? I haven't heard the any of Borla's exhaust's in person which is why I'm asking.
The GM GFX kit can take any exhaust tip up to 4" with no problems.

i have the S-Type on my car with the GFX and i love it. only complaint is that when i bought the system 5 months ago it didnt come with tips. sound is deep which is what i wanted. not raspy at all. still isnt very loud. it is just right to not be obnoxiously loud. perfect IMO.

Don't mean to go but I've been considering between Borla S-Type and the Flowmaster American Thunder.. both seem pretty even and not too loud from what I've seen in clips and in person.

While there is a love feast going with the ATAK right now..I think most people would be happier with the Stinger. Just hearing a car with headers and the ATAK catback it seemed to loud to me...and I have stingers and the LT. Like anything some will love it..and some won't.

Flowmaster AT catback is by far my fav.. its such a perfect old muscle meets new muscle sound. When it hits the harmonic notes at 1550-1650 and 2540-2650 its TO DIE FOR!!! :-)

Our tips will fit with the ground effects. Only minor trimming is involved. |
