Maggie belt adjustment

Does anyone have a good tool that they use to pry against that plastic belt adjuster pulley on the Maggie? I dont want to hurt the pulley and was thinking about making a curved wide spoon type tool to curve with that pulley to make that job easier, but if anyone has a good tool that they use please shoot me your idea. I would gladly pay for a slick tool that would make prying off of that tensioner bolt easier.

Not sure if it would work but a shock spanner wrench? They are curved to loosen the nuts on coil overs?? Or take an old screw driver and heat it and bend to fit it nice.

yeah those might work,I was also thinking about bending 1 of those tools to change a motorcycle tire, I cant remember exactly what they look like but that's what came to mind when I thought about making something.

I just went through this and used a two foot long 3/8" extension. It was long enough to get good leverage and it didn't make a mark on the tensioner. It was fairly easy to get all I could out of the belt.

Sounds like the belt being that tight would be hard on the bearings.

the belt should never be to tight as the tensioner has marks on it, you just try to keep the adjustment mark centered.
