BUGS having a party on my camaro
Every time I get out of work, I find these things congregating all over my car. What type of bug is this and how do I prevent this from happening? They stick to the car even after driving at high speeds. If I try to wipe them off, I'm afraid of smashing them (even if it was a clean process, it's still an annoying chore). I also can't drive with the windows rolled down since they might fly inside. Is it because of the bright yellow color? I don't see these on any other vehicles in the lot. Very confused

Those are weevils. Either they are attracted to the yellow color or you have wax or product on your car that is attracting them.

Not sure what kind of bug, though it does look like some sort of weevil. All bugs love yellow. That's why so many wild flowers and other plants put on yellow flowers - it attracts bugs for pollination. Good luck combating that.

Do you live in an eastern state? Those are Camaro Beatles. They live primarily on the east coast of the U.S. They're attracted to Camaro's and while they don't actually do any physical harm, they can be real pests.
Have your considered Covercraft?

I would say you a hose and get them off! I've never seen bugs like this before. They like Camaros!

To all the people suggesting the hose, I don't have one handy at my workplace parking lot lol. Anyway I'd rather drive a dry car since it looks nicer. A wet car is probably better than a bug-covered car, but still, the exterior soaking isn't always an option.. I'm guessing they only come around this time of year and I'll just have to live it out. Must be the wax and/or paint. I use Turtle Ice by the way, hope that doesn't scare anyone away from it because I think it is a good product.
