I agree. Although it looks like a good hack job (professional hack job) it is still not the released model and for 16k I expect something more refined. From a manufacturing point of view I understand, they are experimenting on what looks good. I wouldn't commit my camaro to the transformation given that it may also change the structural integrity of the vehicle.

It could also be hiding how bad the body looks with the top cut off. It is hiding where all the work was done!

Those of you that don't like the way it looks don't understand what was accomplished here.. Including how it was re-enforced underneath as well. It is a dang good job and yes, it is expensive, however look at the labor that it takes to do this correctly.. Nice job guys. What you can work on afterwards is a T-top version of the Camaro once the real convertibles are released.. I'm sure that package would sell like hot-cakes..

t-tops on the new z28 would be perfect. thats the one i want. this vert looks pretty good. 16k too much though. not diggin them rims. like that grill though. i dont think a targa top would look good on the camaro but i am curious to see how it would look. someone should photoshop a targa and t-top camaro.

For $16,000 they should have a hard plastic body color matching tonneu cover.
