Came across a couple other posts that it was a torque converter problem, any other input on that? Has anyone else had that replaced and solved the problem.

Going to stop at a different dealer tomorrow to see what they think.

vibration issue resolved!

After going back and forth with service guy and mechanic and them telling me they could not duplicate vibration issue. I finally was able to go on a test drive with shop foreman and this guy knows his stuff. He noticed the vibration issue immediately and able to duplicate issue all the time around 40mph to 50 MPH .... to make a long story short they had to replace the torque converter to fix issue. Now my car runs like a champ with no vibration issues at all. the service guy did said that my car was the first one they have seen with that issue. Hope this info helps

Add me. 2012 45th 2LT/RS. Started doing this a few weeks ago. Took it in after coming across this thread. They looked up my VIN and saw the torque convertor bulletin, etc. The transmission guy took it for a drive with their diagnostic laptop hooked up. It is indeed the torque converter. They ordered me a new one and will be fixing it as soon as the part comes in.

I had the same exact problem with my 2012 camaro. They had to replace the torque convertor also. Said that they have had other instances of this. It was all under warranty so it was covered. Drives perfect now.

That's good news that this looks to be narrowed down. I had it at a different dealer yesterday and both the tech and foreman were able to feel the problem. They agreed that the issue seemed to be the torque convertor, parts ordered and should be fixed in a day or two. Can't wait to get back in it and hopefully have a nice smooth ride.

Glad this thread was here to help get this resolved, hopefully it helps others having the issue.

Just picked her up and another one can be chalked up for bad torque converter. Almost feels a little weird not having the stutter lol

Back to enjoying my ride. Thanks again for the input.

Sweet! I'm still waiting for the part (torque converter) to come in. Hopefully soon.

I'm joining the club with the vibration.

My 2LT started with the vibration at around 3,200 miles. The dealer is saying that it is the torque converter. I am not convinced but they are replacing it under warranty. We will see. The vibration happens with minimal acceleration and between 1700 and 2000 RPMs in automatic or manual mode.

Wow. I step away from this thread for a bit and it turns into something completely different. I hadn't heard about the new issues with the 2012 Camaros. Glad to see so many are getting this taken care of. Let me know how things go for all of you.

Jeff, thanks for your interest. A few posts back I put up a copy of the GM service bulletin that addresses this issue. This document already existing sure made things smoother when getting the problem diagnosed. Now just waiting on a new torque converter to come in.

Well, the bulletin I posted only lists 2012 models. But, you never know. All you can do is ask. Regardless, if you're having a problem, take it in. Unless you've got a ton of miles, it should be under warranty, whatever the problem may be.
