I am looking for advise on optional engines I can use in a 2010 Camaro LT. The current engine is blown.

My issue is the LLT engine was only used for two years in the Camaro lineup from my previous experience with a 2006 Cadillac CTS limited engines did not fare well.

Reading the blogs or threads it seems the LFX engine will not work in the 2010 model so are there other options? or am I stuck replacing the engine with another LLT?

Lastly I can only find high mileage LLT engines and paying 3K for an engine with over 80K miles on it does not make sense to me.

I looked up a new crate engine LLT--the price made me choke....I can get a good low mileage corvette engine for that price...goodness....
