Good to hear! I know it's of little solace to alot of folks, but nice to know from Huffines at least, you're getting your car before those of us who ordered later

Wullger, Jay told me possibly around late July or August delivery possibly. I have a current lease on my truck that is up in August, so that would work perfect.

Now if Jay called me, and to my surprise it came in earlier, it certainly would not hurt my feelings. I just got back from Chicago and Avis had a couple of 2Lt cars there, so I got to go check them out. I can see what people are talking about the front visibility taking a little getting used to especially when you are used to driving around a truck. I keep seeing this Challenger zooming around in the Colony. I cant wait to show him up when I get my camaro. Hopefully, I will be the first one in town to have one.

Dilemma

Anyone have advice on going about informing your better half, (wife), that all of those years of allowing her to park in the garage is going to have to come to a halt very soon?

There is no friggin way I am going to park my camaro out front on the street. And since she works at home, this should not be an issue, but I am afraid they she is now spoiled. Maybe a bribe is in order??

I actually ordered from Reliable, just posting in the Hufines thread because there was no point in creating a separate thread.

As for solace, yes it is nice to hopefully get it before the later orders since that would defeat the purpose of October pre-order...

If she says no way, get a new wife! j/k I am a wife, but I don't understand non-understanding wives, but I'm not your typical girl. Our Tahoe has to stay outside while the 67 bird and new Camaro will be in the garage. My husband understands. We need a much bigger garage for our toys.

Thanks for the input, rforbes. I'm hoping that with the production ramp-up and the extra shift we see them closer toward July 4th

..As for your wife, just explain to her that your Camaro is an alpha dog, and will rip the jugular out of your existing vehicles unless it's given its choice of territory

wullger, that was just an estimate based on what Jay knew at the time. It would not surprise me one bit if they did arrive around that time frame. Keep your fingers crossed!

I have a great idea!! The wifes lease is up next year. I should get her a 2LT. That would be a heck of a lot more exciting than her beloved Camry and get about the same mileage. She works at home so she does not put a lot of miles on vehicles. I wonder if Huffines will be leasing these.

Found out mine shipped today....

As for the wife thing we agreed that both of our vehicles will always be inside. The third bay is for projects and the classic car. No issues that way.
