I was told I should get a new one since there were gold specks in the oil. I haven't had the money to buy one.......I just got a job offer this afternoon, so hopefully I can start getting my car running straight again.

Right now, the battery needs to be replaced; possibly the starter too. After that, I gotta take a look at the fuel system....POS.....i hope its something easy to fix, otherwise Aeromotive will be getting one nasty phone call.....

Got some parts in for a remote battery shutoff earlier this week, I'll be installing it in a couple weeks. This tuning bullshit is really bothering me, never properly got tuned since the motor went back in June and constantly running into issues. It's been a year since i got the turbos installed, and I'm only make 70 more hp than i did with the supercharger. Gotta get everything figured out with the car before more gets added...

On a side note, a got a message from an editor at Discovery Channel that wants to do a full writeup article on my car! Some of you might remember the little blip on the website about a month ago, well they are going to correct it and do a new writeup!

Also took a ride in a Radical SR3 over the weekend. I really want one, and best is the price, it's only ~$40k for a used one, which isn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. This will probably come after the Fisker the girlfriend wants lol.

one of these, never seen one in person until this weekend, the owner was nice enough to give me a ride in one. It hit 140mph on a banked sweeper, and we hit over 3Gs of force. It was an amazing feeling! Pretty much a mini indy car. It comes standard with a 1500cc busa engine (revs to 13k rpms!), and they make a 650hp v8 version. The body only weighs 1100lbs, so you can imagination how fast they move.



I'm seriously looking at the blue fisker, otherwise, I might wait for the fisker sunset to come out, a hardtop coupe, similar to the current maserati.

That would be sweet. Just another car you would have to tow around lol. Fisker isn't my cup of tea but if you like it that's all that matters.

Time to upgrade to a 2-car hauler? haha been looking for a 24ft enclosed for a while, just need to find the money to finish up the car, then can maybe trade in my 18-ft trailer for a nice one I can keep!

I've been looking for a permanent job since May, but got a temp 6 week job that ends this Friday. I got an offer with a online gaming company; nice pay (step up from Genentech) and I get to travel to Seattle every other month, with a trip to Ireland twice a year.

I've had 3 interviews with Facebook, and even filled out a background check, they are pretty serious about hiring me, but it would be a strict schedule compared to the gaming company, which I would have an EXTREMELY flexible schedule (start at 10am, leave at 4pm, and telecommute if i feel like it!)

Work should be pretty easy to find by you. Good luck with getting a permanent gig. My wife's company hires all the time, her main office is in Campbell. She works for realtor.com, good money and all programmers, developers etc.

I wasn't getting any hits for jobs I was applying for, I recently revamped my resume, and I've been getting quite a few calls a day with companies wanting to interview me. My ideal job would be for Lockheed, NASA, or Boeing; now that would be an awesome job lol!

The nice thing about the gaming company is they would work with me on scheduling because I'm taking night classes at a college right now.

Yea up there is one of the main offices. Big wigs are there. Get that degree, her place won't hire without a bs in cis. My wife just started her masters to keep on moving up. Don't forget Raytheon lol. Most of them use special programming thou. Have you looked at dice.com? That's a good technology hiring site

That was my biggest fear; that I wouldn't get hire, because i was in college for my CS degree for 3 days before i dropped out. I got lucky with my job at genentech, but once i redid my resume, most people didnt care about a degree (at least for objective-c programming) and wanted to see a portfolio and experience. I'm not even taking classes for IT in college, they're for automotive lol.

Well got a new name for the car lol, I was at my girlfriend's dad's house a couple weekends ago for a ratrod show (which was awesome, cuz i saw a 440ci twin turbo 37 coupe!) Anyways, so someone decided to bring some fireworks, one of them happening to be 'The Neighbor Hater'. Here's a video of it lol



So we set off a couple, most of them hitting the power lines on the way down!

And everyone in my court is retired (3 have died in the last couple months) and everyone has dinner at 3pm and lights out at 7 lol. For those of you that have heard my car, can guess what my neighbors think, for those of you that havent, i have headers, turbos, and uhhhhh thats it! I usually roll in around 11 or 12, and sometimes later, waking up everyone on the street. I've even got notes on my car with complaints!

So naturally, makes sense that my car be deemed......the neighbor haterrrr!



No new updates on the car, she's still sitting waiting to be driven again. Good news is gas is ~$4/gallon, so went down about 80cents in the last week!!! Going to take the battery out, im thinking its just on its last leg. If that doesn't solve the problem then gotta replace the starter. I start my new job at Facebook in a week when I come back from SEMA, so should be able to start spending some money on the monster again!
