Engine painting, everything under the hood!

Planning on painting ever single thing in my hood black that you can see, any problems with this? im planning on using high temperature matte engine paint. Any parts that are shown in the engine not black, i will paint, any thoughts?

....are you going to be taking it all apart when you paint it or are you just aiming and spraying? Because that latter option could possibly have negative side effects. Well, it most likely would have negative side effects rather.

hmmm......I mean it is doable yes. But I'm just concerned about the paint hurting the belts, etc, etc.

If you don't properly prepare each surface for paint, and mask off any parts not to be painted it will look ghetto, and you'll be repainting every month. If you clean your engine at all the paint will chip and flake off. If you don't clean your engine it will look like crap in a few months. But it's your ride...
