Vararam...

So here's my dilemma, Vararam supposedly makes two different intakes, one for a stock tune and one for a custom tune. I would just like to know what the differences are in the intakes and why they needed to create two different models??

The tune version, to my knowledge, is probably going to be a 3" filter allowing the most air intake possible. This might normally cause bucking in a car that didn't have a tune.

If you get the no tune version, you might be getting the 2.5" filter if you had an auto or a 2 3/4" filter if you have the LS3. That's my guess.

Right now it's pie in the sky. Being that I am a month away from pulling my Maro out of storage and still waiting for my PM. To make matters worse, it appears to be 10 units at C5 Fest for late comers. While the so called early birds sit and wait.

Top of my list when I get to C5 Fest is get a firm date for my Vararam or start looking at alternatives.

i really think they are missing the boat here with not offering this intake for the masses.

People aren't going to spend $400 bones when they already bought an alternative so they didn't have to wait on a list... (IE: Me...)

Vararam is selling their intakes as fast as they can make them and get them shipped. They had some issues with the first couple batches of their intakes. Only a few select Camaro owners got an intake in the beginning. Now things are going a little faster and Vararam is making it down the Pre-order list as fast as they can. I was number 187 on the pre-order list and I just got my Vararam last week.

If someone doesn't want the Intake, Vararam just moves to the next person on the list.

It wouldn't be fair for Vararam to sell to the masses right now, because he still has hundreds on guys waiting on pre-order lists.
