Anyone getting ceramic brake pads?
Just wondering if anyone is replacing their brake pads with ceramic brakes? I called Hawk performance and they don't have any that fit in their inventory. Anybody out there find any by chance?

I'm going with carbotech. They were recommended in another thread on this subject. I changed the ones on my 08 challenger and made a huge difference. This much dust has got to go! Just my 2 cents. I will order them when I get back from Fbod in Georgia.

Yea the dust does suck...but I'll use up the stock pads before I go blowing $$ on new pads. I just bought some ARMOR ALL WHEEL PROTECTANT that you leave on after washing the car and it REPELS brake dust VERY well...I washed my car last Saturday and it's now Thursday adn my wheels still look shiny and new...great stuff for $6

Ceramic pads are great, but if your Camaro is a daily driver I wouldn't recommend them. They wear out rotors quite quickly.

The Hawk Performance Ceramic pads for the 09+ CTS-V are the same. I've had them on for about a month now. Considerably less dust and what little dust there is is grey colored so it doesn't show as much on the silver wheels.

Got the same ones as MTNGOAT and they are terrific! Feel exactly the same as the other and have cut my dust detailing down by half. Had the dealer put them on.

I'll have to give that a try, both the Z and the SS drive me nuts with dust.
