CAM for my setup????

i currently have a 2010 camaro 2ss whipple, full exhaust shorties,102mm TB, CAI. I currently bought some MAST heads and want to add the heads along with a CAM to unleash my blowers power i have looked at the JRE rough idle blower cam but so many decisions i dont want to buy something i might not like so if anyone can help or point me in the right direction thank you im looking for good drivability as long as not too choppy < not annoying but i want most power texas speed claims 60rwhp with their B-Cam.

Get spec'd for a custom grind for your complete components, driving style and altitude.

I agree with the others, in that you need to talk to a shop to have them spec a cam for your needs. If you just want a off the shelf cam, then get the one that looks best to you. If you want a cam made specifically for your setup, go elsewhere. You do know that rough idle means choppy.

There are many shops that can tailor a cam to your needs. The ones that come to mind are GPI and Slowhawk. There are some very nice cars coming out of both shops.

You need to get long tubes and call Brian Tooley racing aka BTR or Martin at Tick for a specd cam and a set of his tried and true valve springs.

Those are your options, you'll regret the rest.

I highly recommend you check out my friends video clips on YouTube. Search Lethal Racing "Night Fury" cam.

What actually makes them "his tried and true valve springs"? I don't think BTR manufactures valve springs. More like he buy's and sell's products. This is a common misconception for those who think he actually has something figured out over the biggest spring manufacturing companies.

I'm sure this will start some discussion......

I would contact Pat G. and have him spec you a cam for your application and specific mods. He uses Comp Cams ground cores and will direct you in the right direction. Any valve train components go with all BTR (Brian Tooley Racing)

Most all of our cams are custom ground by BTR....I'd challenge that our 231FI cam would make as much or more than any other PD Blower Cam on the market.

Check it out and let us know if we can meet your needs when it comes to what you're after!
