We can make custom changes to the NFC to suit your build if needed but we often make 700+rwhp with the NFC and the ECS Kit just as you have. In fact, after ECS we probably install the most ECS kits than any other vendor on this site . They just perform plain and simple!

custom centri cam for the 377 that made over 1krwhp and another custom turbo grind for the AGP kit being installed by Joe@CPR. I wouldn't sleep as well knowing I didn't try to squeeze MOST of the power out of the combo.

A custom cam might better be described as a "personal" cam. No way would I install anyone's secret cam. If I don't know the specs, it ain't goin in. I see some cams used by folks that I think are pretty dumb. Does that make them wrong? Hell no. Wrong for me may be perfect for you. It's all about the combo and what you're wanting the cam to help accomplish.

Cams are one big compromise. You get a little here and give up a little there. The neat thing about f/I is that you don't need a cam that causes your rig to be ill mannered. You can have it all. Great manners and stupid big power. Of course, if an ill mannered cam cranks your tractor, I'm not going to tell you your cam choice is wrong. Just becuz I wouldn't do it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. I've had my black car, my convertible, and my stupid big cam. I won't be revisiting any of those again.

Its at the Same 11psi as before the cam

OP, no matter which cam you choose, having a tuner that knows how to make not only the power but how to make your car drive well is really a huge part of it too.

I had someone recently call me and ask me about the NightFury cam. He was having ECS install their sc kit on his car so there was only one correct answer to give imo........if ECS is doing the install and tuning, it just makes sense to go with their big blower cam. After all its their cam, they are doing the install and they install and tune it very well ALL the time.

Its not always about just trying to sell parts....

Might be the same boost, but it was using a smaller pulley to do that. If you just added tem cam the gains would be less.

I lost 1.5 psi of boost when I installed the cam with the same pulleys.

Of course there was a pulley swap to keep the boost the same. It didnt increase the overall psi though. Before cam 11psi, after cam 11psi. The goal was just that, nothing more. We know the cam will drop the boost a few psi so changes were made to keep it at the previous psi. SmokedSS wants the best possible gains to be able to improve at the track.
