Can you id a 1LE using a vin number alone
Can you id a 1LE using a vin number alone was told if it started with 2G1FT it was or are the other signs the red calipers hood lining and strut brace the thing to look for

White steering shaft and if you look under the trunk mat, there is a list of RPO codes and one of them will be 1LE.

You cannot id a 1LE by the vin number. Here is a vin breakdown for what each letter/number means.

Thank you all from Sunny Australia for the info and if interested a 2014 1LE still fetch 80 grand due to being as rare as rocking horse shit and 40 grand to convert to right hand drive

That's about $62k U.S. dollars. If anyone in Australia wants to buy mine for that I would be happy to sell it to them. I would even knock it down to $70k Australian dollars.

If I were living down under, don't think Camaro would me my choice. I'd prefer a 6m ss-v red line ute. Have been wanting one since before I got the GTO. Can say my 1Lehas a lot of Holden DNA. Holden built some great cars, sorry to see them gone & GM giving you some rebadged Buick. Sorry to hijack the thread

Lord yes, I'd love a ute here in the 'states.
Been starting to look for the next utilitarian, household hauling sort of vehicle. A Holden ute sold here would make that a stupidly easy decision. |
