Do you need more than 13 psi...

had 13 on my 09 CTS-v have 10 on my 2010.. granted its a LSA.

i find traction is a big issue with the 1900 or 2300 once pushed to double digits and supporting mods.

Yes i like my V its a sinister family car that only howls when i romp on.





of course better tires was the key...and modulation.

that's the thing that makes me hesitant about the Z/28. Ford took some 5 years to get the GT500 right (I think all previous versions have flaws I can't overlook). As much as we like to be positive, I think GM is not going to get the Z/28 right the first time, and we will see a perfect Z/28 some 5 years from now too. Probably on the alpha platform.

Ok but what PROOF do we have that the car was stock? As many have said, 115mph from a stock auto at that is totally outside of the norm for these cars, so it wouldn't be bad faith to disbelieve a "it was stock" claim. A guy can easily get his car modded, goto the track and run it and pull an impressive time then when the shocked on lookers ask "what have you done to that car", simply answer "oh it's bone stock". YEAH.........sure it is. Why lie and say "it was stock?" Easy, if you can believe this, some people out there actually want they're car to appear better than it actually is! If that car is running 115mph stock in the quarter, picture the modding potential it would have.

How do we know beyond the person's "good word" that his car was totally stock. No radicals, no tune, no headers, totally stock.....

I say bull until proven otherwise.

Did you read the post just before yours? He's saying that this particular track has been known to show (inaccurately) high trap speeds before. I think 12.7 is fast but believable for a best et. And if that track showed even 2 mph faster than normal, 112.3 mph is right back where others have been.

You are obviously man about the video but why? How can you prove it was fake? Apparently any video of a Mustang beating a Camaro in your eyes would be fake lmao. If your car of choice is losing then it must be fake lmao haha. I bet money any video of a Camaro winning is real right? Both cars were automatic. The Camaro only has 400 hp with an auto transmission and it weighs 300 more pounds then the Mustang with 412 hp and better gearing. How in the world wouldn't the Mustang win? More hp, better gears and less weight equals faster unless the car can't hook up or put the power down but apparently these new 5.0's can and I'm dying for one but I'll settle for a 2000-2002 Z28, Trans-Am or if God loves me a 2003-2004 Cobra because I can't afford one after getting my Camaro V6.

You should be like me man, enjoy all cars and not be a fanboy of any. I love the way my car looks and drives but it doesn't bother me one bit that the Mustang V6 can blow my doors off so why does it bother you that a Mustang GT 5.0 can out run an auto SS? Better yet explain to me how an auto SS that weighs 300 more pounds and has 12 less hp can out run a 5.0 auto GT.
