How is this price for a 1LT? Any insight will help.

Hello everyone!

So I'm trying to become a proud owner of a Chevy Camaro 1LT. I talked to a dealer over the phone today and I was quoted 29k out the door. Do you guys think this is a good deal. I would like to hear you opinion as I am not very familiar with the prices of these cars. The options that the car has are: Convenience and Connectivity, the Boston Acoustic sound system, remote start, auto tranny. Let me know what you all think! Thanks in advance for the help.

Not sure. But they assured me this is invoice price after the credit union $500 discount. I'm hesitant though because it's 3k more than I was looking to spend.

Build it on chevy's site and get the msrp.

What is your tax rate? License fees? Trade in?

All these are important to figure in sice yours is the out the door price.

DEW: Yeah I had a feeling that was the case.

Scrappy Doo: My tax rate is 7%, No trade ins and license fees. I feel that it isn't a very good price :/

I see that you're in Miami. Where did you get that deal if you don't mind me asking?

I got it at Maroone of West-Dade. It's a local dealer by where I live.

I see. I might purchase it from there. How the heck am I getting such an awful quote in Jacksonville?

Before I got that deal I was shopping around going from dealer to dealer to see which best possible price I could get. I was going to originally get a 2SS but I drive way too much and I didn't want to have a high gas bill so I ended up getting a good deal over at Maroone of West-Dade for a Black 2LT with RS Package with Black Interior so I couldn't turn it down. If you end up going there, speak to a man named Andy. Very nice salesman.

That sounds great. I'll be sure to speak to him. That is a great price I feel on a 2LT with RS you got there. Almost exactly the specs I want too. Black on black looks nass. I wish I could get that price in Jacksonville though. I'm looking to spend 25-26k out the door with convenience and connectivity and remote start on an auto. Am I asking for too much here?

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to at least get it for 26k out the door.

I'm not sure either. But I'm defuddled lol. I might just go with the 1LT auto with RS package and nothing else. I can install the PMID and USB later myself. Maybe that'll be easier to find at my price range.
